NEW MAST NEW SPRIT""NEW SAILS""

Boy has alot happened since Xmass...But in the end i got to build a bow sprit....It was on the to do list ,but not so soon.It snapped and it and myself whent for a crisp spring swim.It happened when we were changing the fore mast ...

Had some time on my hands .. decided to put the new fore mast up...and rig the drummer on windows paint....found out a while back that the fore mast we got last spring ,off a ketch that had wrecked in Gibsons...was a few feet shorter than the heavy Fir tree we have on deck now...i think the Drummer will like a little less load on its bow.....M

Anougther flurry of lights...even at this point 16 ..20 foot strings and i still find the overall to be a bit ..... light. But i just want to be there..ive allwayts wanted to join in on the cruise...but every year some thing more inportant came up...but since this is our last year ,, our last Xmass in canada..we put a special effort in place ...this year mother nature is going to do her best..calling for 25 knot south easter tomorrow night..our fingers are crossed..

OUR good friend Mary came over to see us the other day ..one of the last few days onboard for the season. We chatted a bit , and killed off a nice bottle of wine. and told long tales of our upcoming adventure. And pland the Xmass Coarol Ship Cruise...the night whent fast with good company.

The day sail was cancled.But i got the main on line. One step closer..Nicole at the helm, couple days ago..M
