28 Aug. A 25 mile sail south to Lochinver; another big fishing port built with EU money and now mostly deserted. But a great spot and on the route of North Coast 500, so lots of motor homes - but this does mean coffee shops, so not all bad. This incredible looking mountain - Suilven is a feature of the area, so thought it had to be climbed. From a distance this looks impossible, but there is a gully to scramble up on one side, though approach to the top is not for the faint hearted with a narrow path dropping off steeply both sides. Well worth the climb with fantastic views all around.
