Sharing our Journey

Crinan Basin

After we visited Crinan Basin (31 Aug) Mark McGillivray got in touch to say he'd taken some pictures of us in the lock and then kindly sent them through. Including Cyanotype postcards - "I created from the images (these are images where I expose specially treated paper in the sunshine with a negative image - that I've printed on a transparent sheet - placed on top. The Prussian blue colour that results is how architectural "blueprints" originally got their name - as this is the original process used to print them back in the 1840s!)" And a 'world' shot a compilation of 42 images.
I thought they were very cool and thought you'd like to see them too. Many thanks Mark.
