Received a good update call from Phil and Venturous via the satellite phone this afternoon. All seems fine, everyone is doing well. They did about 200 miles yesterday and about 180 today; all sailing, no power at the moment. They'll email their position when someone gets a chance to do so through the Inmarsat "Mini C" system, which worked for an outbound email to me when they tested it yesterday.
The crew expects to be under sail through the weekend then switch to power around Monday as the winds die for several days. They're calling Commander Weather service often, so they're getting good, up to date reads on conditions.
They had just finished a nice dinner of some stir-fry turkey, veggies and rice, probably assembled by the multi-talented Beau. Heard something about some "Big hat" photos of the crew that they took, but unfortunately we won't receive them until Bermuda when they'll have better email access via wifi. Darn!
