We wanted to come into Pylos again and stay for a couple more nights. We will be here for three days before going to our next location in the Peloponnese.

We anchored again off the harbour and took Dennis to get into town to have a nice cafe frappe. Two fishermen were tied up to the harbour wall selling their overnight catch. We went to the "Mares", the local chandlery to buy 50 meters of 4mm rope for Dennis' shiny new dinghy anchor. The owner was so hospitable, he gave us a cold homemade lemonade to drink whilst browsing in his shop and then as a present a bottle of "Fotis Seaman" (his brand name for the chandlery as well) olive oil from his own farm. This is his winter job making the olive oil. And all this for €15.00.
