We have just invested in a Cobb BBQ thanks to a great suggestion by our MdR friends on Flirtie. It is amazing. The BBQ stays cool around its base and so is good in a boating environment to take to the beach or have on the deck. As we have teak decks we would have to put a cover down and sit it on that though if we used it on Njord. So far we have only used it on the pontoon.
We have made some amazing meals so far and each time we use it we become more adventurous.
This lunch was a huge T bone steak and I am just grilling off the bone to make the meat close to it crispy and delicious. The steak itself took 5 minutes per side and was beautifully pink once left to rest and carved.
