Today we completed a 50nm passage through the Lymfjord; very light easterlies and a beautiful sunny day gave us ideal conditions to concentrate on pilotage - and not running aground outside the sometimes narrow channels. Also gave us time to get our heads around the (new to us all) Raymarine C80 chartplotter - a splendid bit of kit; gives us masses of nav info + radar + AIS, all on the one screen.
Our GRIB wind forecasts continue to look good for the N Sea passage; we plan to leave here tomorrow (Saturday) morning. Wish us fair winds please!
