Corralejo
30 September 2008 | Corralejo Harbour, Fuerteventura
NNW 20kt, rain showers, 1022.5 falling
Photo in the anchorage, Isla de Lobos.
Woke this morning at anchor off Lobos, to a rather lively sea; so made the three mile crossing to Corralejo Harbour and nice calm waters behind the breakwater. Anchoring - lots of rock, needed several attempts to find sand for the anchor to hold. The marina is tiny, for local boats only; but there is a long pontoon if you are brave enough to share it with the commercial tripper boats. First impression ashore is of endless restaurants; but a quite a charming little ferry port all the same. No problem finding an 'English Breakfast'!
