Oak Harbor
Yesterday we motored to the Benjamin's, a quartzite laden rocky area. Rocks all over just peeking up from the water to higher rocks. The sun on the quartzite turns it pink. We got the dinghy out and motored around the bay and visited with Pretzel for a while. Made dinner and went to bed. A severe lightening storm awakened us during the night. Lots of stuff got wet. Morning was somewhat cloudy but cleared off as the light wind allowed us to sail to our new destination, Oak Bay. Only 7 miles away from the Benjamin's, it was a lazy, relaxing sail. Yes! I said sail. No motor going. Only two sailboats here as we arrived. We found a primo little narrow cove and the water temperature is 74 degrees. Planning on skinny dipping!
Now just about to Little Detroiy
