Very slow day again but the barometer has been changing (1022 hpa to 1013 hpa in 24 hrs) so I'm hoping the wind will come. The gribs say it should. The sails are flopping because of the waves and I hate that. I think this afternoon I'll hoist the gennaker to gain a few thousands of a knot... unless the wind decides to follow the script and come from the SW at 12 kts.
A low pressure should drop down from the north and cross our path in front of us; it's not strong but will bring some headwinds as it comes. Then a week from now looks like the High Pressure blues again!
The new bread turned out really good and since the recipe is simple, I'm going to keep using it: I have to work on the crust some (problem with vaporizing water in the oven). Next time I'll make 2 loaves to have bread for 4 days or so.
Thanks for the B&G info: I have sent them a long detailed email.
The drogue is all finished and in its bag, ready to be deployed Took a shower/shave/clean clothes this morning!!! I feel like a million buck now (unfortunately I'm probably just worth a couple $ but I like delusion!). The oven is not quite hot enough but I cook it longer and that works well.
