Polar vortex not for us!
We are way below that.
Our pos is N25d17m and W 63d12m on a course of 316 to the approaches to the Chesapeake at about 900nm.
We're dealing with light winds; the weather is very nice and we had a green flash (or actually more like a green spot) yesterday at sunset: it is rare enough that we consider ourselves pretty lucky.
We are about 1000 nm from Baltimore so about 8 or 9 days still if we make it through the area of variable winds without slowing down too much.
Today is a bread day and finally we're going to get to eat some meat from the freezer box in the fridge. Yesterday was Annina's fish raviolis in a squash soup which were just as awesome as the squash raviolis with a fish sauce that she made yesterday.
Nathaniel should be calling Tidewater: I sent him a message yesterday and i really appreciate all the work he's done about that.
Did you have fun watching Emilia when they went for a walk? Can't wait to see that future mathematician Fields medalist!
I tried to switch the Watt and Sea prop this morning but could not remove the old prop. I would probably have to scuba to do it and it's not worth it. We have power and fuel enough. We just have to run the generator at night for a few hours....
