Ok fans, just a quick update. We had a really above average dinner last night. 2 fer deal. Steak and trimmings for 180 pesos for both of us!! Add a bottle of red for 7 bucks and you have my night. Spent a few hours around the pool in the sun, then swam in a FRIGID salt water pool off and on. Best part of the pool is that because it was so cold, no adults swam (present company included) and it was just me and a few little kids splashing the adults to help keep their body temps down...you know, medicinal thing.

After spending some quality time on Skype with my girl, I finished my glass of red and hopped off the probably well saturated with who knows what "couch" in the hallway and went to the room...of course Captain Poppie was snoring away oblivious of the light I turned on and the noises I made getting into my backpack for the charger cable for the laptop.

I was exhausted! Long day of pulling this and packing that. Marking things off the list...checking it twice....am I really done? It was like getting ready for a big thanksgiving feast with all the family...then, I plopped down on my bed to let go of my eyelids...and BAM! WHAT THE HECK??? Did Dad pull a fast one on me? He snuck a piece of plywood into my bed! NO KIDDING! this bed feels like a 4x8 sheet of OSB with a cheap worn out blanket to cover it up. Needless to say, add one more night of lttle sleep to the docket of endless hours lost to discomfort!...thank god there's a comfrotable bed waiting for me at home. (and perfume and curls!)

The clock is ticking...keep you fingers crossed that they let me back in the country without my papers. If not, please send cookies and cake....and a file-
