Ok, so let's continue where I left off...after writing an entire second blog entry that vanished into the abyss at Maria's Beachside Palapa
(maybe it was the wine? beer? her amazing fresh ceviche?) Anyhow, I will regale you the happenins of yesterday.

Transfer all 6 containers of fuel on deck into fuel tank...no matter how hard I try, there is no way to avoid spilling bits of fuel when opening
spouts, using jiggly thing (siphon) and just handling multiple jerry cans on my beautiful new Flexi-Teak decking...stains happen...guess this
is a true cruising boat now, get over it Lawnboy! An hour and change later, I drop 6 empties into my dingy and head ashore for another
adventure....how to lug all these cans to the PEMEX station up the hill to get filled.

I tap into my new found influence with Maria's Palapa to get her to text her hubby about getting a lift to said PEMEX with the pre promise
of buying beer, wine and dinner...all the while scalping free wifi to write previous blog entry :)

I invite my friends from S/V Karma to tag along and get their 2 jerry cans filled. On the way back, he takes us on a custom tour over
heavily rutted out dirt roads of the back country of this cool little town in a Hyundai Sonata or something..with 8 full cans of diesel in the
trunk and 4 adults inside...can you say Low Rider?!??....amazing we didn't get high centered outside town...he knew his car better than
I!!!!

Back at Maria's I had previously mentioned Ceviche, multiple beers and wine....and blog became more interesting :) Later that evening I
forced my overloaded dingy with close to 500# of fuel back to the water taking my sweet ass time back to Wades Aweigh cautiously
trying not to flood her ever lower bow. Mission accomplished! Lift said cans to deck, then put back in can racks up forward, lift dingy up
into its resting place under the arch, tie her off and freaking collapse!

Plan was to sail along with "Karma" in a spinnaker flying romp south to next anchorage, my body next morning at 0445 said...sorry charlie,
you overdid yesterday, I'm gonna spank you with a soar lower back and if you don't listen to the signs Dumb Dumb....it's gonna hurt you
more than me....I yielded to the warning...told the "kids" I'd see them tomorrow and have a nice sail...rolled over and quickly gave in to a
most deep slumber till 0830 It felt like an entire second nights sleep!

Today was all about prep work for heavy weather, small projects, reading in the cockpit in shorts (sorry fans...it was warm!) and just
general chill challenge in the afternoon.

Running engine now for hot water, shave, shower and prep dinner...gonna try that Bonito fillet, pair with Filet Mignon & fresh
asparagus...no starch. Life on board my mighty ship is not suffering for food or drink!

Stay tuned for next stop, Asuncion'!!
