On the eve of our next great sailing adventure/class, Amy and I are considering buying a small sailboat (1972 21' clipper sailboat) in stead of ASA 103. The small boat, named half awake, is in good condition. our own boat will provide hand on experience on the water for a greater period than a three day class would. We are leaning toward our own s/v instead of a class that would cost the same price. Please post any thoughts u may have.
