Day 10 Honolulu to Blaine

25 June 2016 | North East Pacific, 43°39.00'N:156°05.00'W
Wayne
We have managed to get up main and genoa and we are now moving right along at speeds up to 7.5 knots. It sure feels a lot better than 3 knots I can assure you. In other news our propane solenoid decided to quit working so I dug out the new replacement to change it. Things were going well until crew dropped the replacement solenoid over the side. We do not have enough parts to bypass the solenoid so we are without cooking unless we can get the BBQ working in this wind. Looks like we'll be eating lots of sandwiches, cereal and cold beans-HA! It could be worse but I am going to miss the hot coffee and cocoa. Any way with our new found speed our 1600Z Day 10 run was 134.4 n miles. It's not stellar but better than sub 100 mile days.
