Wayward Wind welcomed her first guests this week, Glen and Donna, Jerry's brother and his wife. We took them on a three day cruise of the islands. First stop was Blind Bay on Shaw Island to give them the opportunity to adjust to the gentle water movement and life on board. The ferry wakes were gentle, just enough to rock us to sleep. Next day we were off to the outer island of Stuart, one of our favorite anchorages. From Prevost Harbor on Stuart you can gaze across Boundary Pass to the Gulf Islands of Canada. Stuart Island has great hiking opportunities. We hiked to the one room school house and spent some time at the museum. One night is not enough time to thoroughly enjoy this spot but we only have one more day. So the next day we were off to Friday Harbor so Glen and Donna could enjoy the "city life" in the San Juan Islands! Wondering through town we discovered the San Juan Brewery - the perfect place for the Norman Brothers. The three day visit was soon over and time for the guests to return to the mainland. A good time was had by all. Wayward Wind is wondering who will be the next to occupy the guest stateroom.
