bay hopping

We moved on from Round Bay St Johns after spending 3 day enjoying the anchorage...weather was good, water clear and plenty of sealife.
Arrived at Xmas Cove Great St James Island which was also very nice but a lot busier with ferries running all day between St Johns and St Thomas.
Snorkeled past a barracuda about 2.5 ft long watching me watching him. The turtles were also plentiful.
We had an incident with the painter line getting caught in the prop which necessitated Vossie having to dive and cut it away at about 10 pm at night with Bob, Debbie and I lighting the way. Eventually this problem was sorted with lots of spluttering from the divers side.
On the 2nd May we did a short motor sail to Water Island, St Thomas, just outside Charlotte Amalie where the main harbour is. Anchored in Honeymoon Bay which was pretty. Water wasn't clear enough for swimming so just chilled and relaxed and sorted out a few more issues. One of the Princess cruise ships came into the harbour passing very close to where we were anchored. Very impressive seeing it so close...... our little excitement for the day!
Yesterday we motored around the corner into Lindbergh Bay, situated by the airport but pretty with a long white beach and not too many people.
It reminds us of St Maarten.
Today we move to Culebra.....
