Discovery Repair team have made great progress, fixing up damage generally caused by the severe gale while we crossed the Bay of Biscay 6th October.

Typical Caribbean weather, with the odd shower and breeze from the East, and warm air and sea!

Weather mainly fine, but the odd shower passing. Typical for this time of year.

Unfortunately the Generator has ceased functioning, so relying on the engines to charge the batteries.

Then we motor around to Carlisle bay which is a nice calm bay on the south coast. It used to have a super little buffet BBQ restaurant, but it has been converted to something else and not open.

So dinner on board eating up the remains of our passage groceries.

Arrived Jolly Harbour Antigua at 0300hrs, in showery weather and anchored outside the port.

We sailed 2100 Nautical Miles in just under 13 days, which makes an average speed of 6.73 knots.

We are all happy to be here in a calm place!

At 0800 we move into the port and pick up a mooring buoy, and check in at immigration and customs which takes almost until midday!

I take a bus into St. Johns and get a couple of local sim cards, and find when I return they don't connect to internet! Must be a technical thing concerning my European devices.

Rough seas still, but a night without rain squalls. frequently switching between goose wing and broad reach as the wind varies between East and North East. Sunny day now and still doing well at 7 to 9 knots!

Should be there in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
