Yacht Wishing For The Moon

Last night we stooped to baking a canned Fray Bentos meat pie with an extra can of steak, accompanied by mash and peas. Cold and dripping damp again on deck, and overcast. Still fairly cloe hauled through the night with double reefed main and working jib.

But this morning the skies are clear, the breeze is a little lighter and free'er so we shake out the reefs and raise the bigger 130% Genoa.

Dolphins come by to visit and finally everything drying out and the air is warmer. Interesting that this is only the third time on our voyage we have had to be concerned with using sunscreen! Breeze is still surprisingly cool but it is fine in the sunshine.

I make a Greek salad from the last of our cucumbers and Feta Cheese, and Tzatziki, and a bowl of hummus for lunch. And for desert I bake Nonna's sticky Apple Cake. All very cheery.

Karel applaudes lunch as the best so far and perhaps the best meal!

Late afternoon another pod of dolphins come by and we heave-to for Miles and Karel to swim in the ocean. But the dolphins disappear.
