Yacht Wishing For The Moon

Day started out calm, but as the sun came up the wind came up too dead ahead, reaching 20 knots at times. But the sea was relatively calm in the approaches to Majorca, and by noon had moderated somewhat, but the direction is still dead ahead. At 3pm I ducked into Porto Colom and loaded up with more fuel, as the forecast is for continuing calm weather on the 200 mile open stretch between Menorca and Corsica.

Now (8pm) heading across the strait between Majorca and Menorca, with the latter a low silouette on the Eastern horizon. Main and Genoa set but insufficient wind to go along so the trusty motor is still running. It's been a typical Mediterranean day with clear blue sky and quite warm at last. No sign of Sirens, but keeping an eye out.
