continuing from where I was curtailed ......and dust which is surrounded by this compressive force which moulds this dust into planets and stars and accelerates these large but finite bodies towards a common centre where occasionally they collide and depending on the severity and angle of collision either tear of chunks of each other or for more direct hits compress some of their matter into denser elements such as Uranium which then blow up, all the way to massive collisions and the resultant supernova which create a whole new fresh set of elements from hydrogen up. The resultant energy of these explosions, stored in the acceleration towards the centre is released into the pool of energy and so maintains the balance. Thus the Galaxy continues on in time with little bits of energy absorbed and created in an ever changing but familiar landscape. In a later part of this Epistle we will examine some of the creations of the fevered mind of the Astrophysicist but for now must call up tomorrow's weather to see whether I should boldly go afar to the foredeck to unfurl the foresail.
