Jeff
Well, the real day 1 was a bust, we went out and we had 4 - 6 ft seas really steep, so we came back in and spent another night at Bell Isle marina.
This morning we got up early and were on the water by 7am. We had the perfect weather. 5 - 10 knot favorable winds and flat seas. We decided that since the forecast was for this weather to continue until tomorrow evening that we would stay out and run all night. With 3 guys that means ony 4 real hours of sleep for each of us. The weather on tuesday is supposed to be bad so we figured we would get as far as we can by Monday evening, then we will stop for the night somewhere in the Delaware river. We will then make a decision about Tuesday.

Right now we are off the mouth of the Patuxent River heading north in 10 knots of wind making 6 knots under sail.

We will check in tomorrow. Be sure to check out our pics from the day!
