Calm seas

19 February 2013 | Treasure Cay
We have a beautiful morning and get away from Hope Town after breakfast. There is just a small roll to the waves out in open and we motor sail up towards Man of War. Once close to the bottom we head towards Treasure Cay about 13 miles away and leisurely sail until almost there. The weather is great and just enough wind to move you. The water is a beautiful blue and there are lots of boats out enjoying the day. This is the kind of weather we had hope to have for Christas visit. We have never been to Treasure before so this is all new to us. After a great trip across we come into the harbor and drop anchor. You must check in to the marina here and you pay at the end of your stay. But you also get to use their facilities while you are here. We think it is $10 per night on anchor. There are 4 moorings here but they are occupied. It is a well protected place. We have yet to go into town but we will probably stay a couple of nights and check this place out. We have heard that the beaches here are one of the top ten best beaches in the world.
