Windy for a while

03 March 2013 | Marsh Harbor Marina
We are still at the dock in Marsh Harbor. We came in on Thursday before the winds came up. They are NW coming into the harbor and late yesterday and continuing until late Monday will be up. Last night there was an event here at the Jib Room, an auction, dinner, and dance. There was a live band starting at 9:30. We were not at it but could certainly hear the band and they were good. So we listened down below in the cabin because it was cool and windy. Not as bad as home in NB but cool for us. The first time I had long pants and socks on since about the 2nd of January. It looks like late Monday and Tuesday will be light winds but another front will give even higher winds on Wednesday into Thursday. From this far ahead it looks like lighter winds and from a better direction late in the week. We can only hope. But warmer anyway.
We hope to get to the Barefoot Man concert in a couple of weeks, then slowly make our way through the northern Abacos looking for a weather window to cross back into the US. If all works well the last week in March.
Always waiting for the weatherman. Not much else going on.
