Still waiting for warm weather

13 February 2015 | Vero Beach
We are still at Vero, but planning to move to Stuart on Monday. We are planning to meet up with Dan and Linda today, they are driving up to visit. We spent a very nice day with Jim and Mary. They took us to watch sailboat racing. Remote control sailboat racing in a small lake in Vero. It was great fun watching them sail around the buoys just like big boats. The guys had a great time asking questions and the men were trying to sell them boats. There are many racing clubs down here and they have races with committees, protests, rules just like any boat clubs. Very interesting and the men were very good at controlling them. We had one day in the 70's but mostly in the 60's, windy and cool at night. We are hoping the weather in Stuart is warmer and we plan to stay here for a month. We really enjoyed it here last year. A lot of people are hoping to cross to the Bahamas, it has been windy and the wrong direction for a long time. The weather right now is saying maybe a change this week coming. I see another storm is hitting home Sunday and it looks like more snow. Keep safe. Will let you know how we make out in Stuart.
