Day 4: Monday, October 2, 2017
We slept until 8:00 am today. It's nice to have a lay day!!
Robert gets right to work, and I take Maggie for a walk. Again--- sniff, sniff, sniff! She LOVES it!!
After breakfast (cereal), I walk to the Visitor's Center to announce our arrival and get the code for the showers. I had a nice chat with the lady at the desk. She gave me some info on a couple of new restaurants.
Back aboard SeaQuell, it's time for a bit of housekeeping. There's dog hair everywhere!!
We walked to the local hot dog joint for lunch. Their dogs are delicious!!! We watched an episode of Andy Griffith on the little tv there.
On our way back to SeaQuell, we stop at a sewing shop for Robert to browse. Lovely chat with the owner!!
The afternoon passes quietly by. Robert works; I read; Maggie sleeps! I also enjoy a long, hot shower.
Dinner tonight is leftovers. Gotta "clean out the fridge ".
After dinner, we sit in the cockpit, sipping our cocktails, chatting with the passersby, and enjoying a cool breeze under a huge moon!! Life is sweet in the Nordstrom "house".
