All my life I have always been very happy to flit from place to place knowing that the people I love most will always be where I left them.....but then I've always known I'm coming back in a relatively short space of time. In undertaking our big adventure it really does make you think about what you will be leaving behind. I wanted to mention here some of you guys who mean so much to us.

Ipswich Sub Aqua Club has been a massive part of our lives for the last few years, we have had some amazing times with you all. Trips to Lulworth gorging on our catch of scallops and crabs, cuddling up with cute seals in the Farnes and some bloody fantastic wreck dives just off the Norfolk coast. Guys we're really going to miss you all so how about organising a dive trip to Gibraltar for the new year ?

Last week I finished at work and Finn stopped going to school. I know at work they are going to miss my singing.....I'll send you a demo guys !! I'm going to especially miss the chip and cake lunches although my waistline will not........

My grandparents invited Adrian, Finn and I over for supper one day this week, and my nan makes the most fabulous proper meat pudding which she cooks in the greenhouse on a paraffin stove - she knows it's our favourite. We also know how hard this is for them and how difficult it is for them as to why we would want to sail away for a long period of time. But we will be coming back for the occasional meat pud every now and then.....

Last night we had 'The Gang' over for a last supper - and I'm still suffering today! I've attached the picture of us all........ Please guys we can't wait for you to all join us for some weekend breaks. We've known this motley crew for years, we've been there through good times and bad times together but mostly we just laugh when we're all together and tell very rude drunken jokes.

There are lots of other friends who individually its gonna be hard to wave goodbye to, but if what they say is true, then our spare beds are going to be permanently occupied.

So that just leaves the rest of our family...... I hope you all know how much we love you and how hard it's going to be not seeing and talking to you whenever we want.
