50 foot Sea Ray, not our boat. some new friends moved from safe cove to a marina today. Due to some unexpected medical issues, one of the crew was not up crewing so I went along to help.

Then came back and put the first coat of bottom paint on the boat. We think she looks a lot better. Picture tomorrow.
In our 60's, (now in our 70s) been married to each other since 1979, sailing boats since the late 1980s. Started on Lake Champlain with a MacGregor 22, and took it to Nova Scotia with us. The MacGregor was a little small for the Atlantic, so we got a "Snowbird", 30-foot steel hulled Junk rig. [...] Then Northern Symphony a beautifully cared for and equipped 1990 Catalina 36. We now own Knot Duality, a 34ft 2001 Gemini 105mc catamaran.
This blog is mostly to help us record the kind of things about weather, distance, routes, anchorages fuel & water levels and the other things that have been recorded in ships logs for hundreds of years. After helping to keep us on track, it may serve other "sailors" by providing recent insights [...]
into anchorages, marinas, shops, tricky currents and other quirks of cruising. Also, some friends have asked for a way to keep track of our adventure so we will try to accommodate this also as best we can. However, this blog is not particularly intended to be entertaining or even interesting, but who knows!
