Probably a good thing the winds did not cooperate. We may have been in the Everglades if they did.

Today we discovered:
- our new wind instrument stopped working (west marine is going to replace it)

- our steering cable broke. Could have been to could be very serious to catastrophic. We are getting a new one shipped tomorrow. So it looks like we will not get to the glades for a few days yet.

- people continue to be very helpful.
Some local boaters showed us a good anchorage after they saw us hunting for one.
The local marina guy says it is OK to land our dinghy to get uber to get parts.
Good Ol Jack Jamieson let us fill our water tanks at his house.
Current an past Gemini owners keep coming by to give us tips.

Turns out we could tack one way but not the other.
