Hello all,

We returned to Big Major to await our daughter Katlyns arrival for her first visit to the Bahamas!

Hetty's got rolly and no wind... It looked as though we would be able to sail by getting out further on the direct course to Harveys Cay... it almost worked but...wouldn't you know it...the wind was way to close for even close haul....Iron Jenny again for the first hour....

The wind came up and became a beam then swung to a nice broad reach...

Lost Puppy and her cream was able to officially sail into Big Major harbour , only turning on the engine to locate a good anchoring spot.

We are beginning to discover that each harbour has its own personality, from areas of surge, to wind, and even unquie people.

This harbour has its own radio cop, and of course the guy with 200 feet of rode, who lets every one know it!!!

Yes Big Major has similarities to Georgetown!!!!!

Plans, yes and of course schedules.....Get Kate from the airport, get to Pipe creek to explore, thence to the Exumas National Water Park.

All of this we have to locate good places to anchor as the weather is scheduled to be nasty from the west, North, and latter the north east!!!

But....ahhh no snow in the forecast!!!!!

As we sit in the evening we see a very large sailboat come in.....lots of spreaders mean big boat.....and what lighting at night he had!!! a Christmas tree for his mast lighting.....I am sure no one could miss this one!
