Hello all,

One of the best things about the south is the wind for sailing....
So far nearly all our voyages had had the wind on the nose...thus the need for fuel has been a consideration..... It must be said with a little wind assisted travel, known as motor-sailing we are not using as much fuel as our friendly motor vessels. Today we head over to Stanial Cay for fuel and laundry. We needed to top our diesel and regular fuel and do the laundry. Laundry just a wash only, $15. Fuel, all in total $83.00 . That was 7 gallon of regular fuel, and 10 gals of diesel.

The hardest part though is the height of the fuel dock. Its about 15 feet straight up. Thank goodness for my fire department training!! I used a rope though to lower the fuel back to the dingy below....Yikes i would not want to fall in!!!

After getting Jenn from the laundry, we explored the creek we had to go down to pick Kate up on Tuesday. Very shallow in parts. The little shopping store, was , of course, closed!

Back to the boat for a good Chinese laundry drying. That's where the wind has its benefit, and the Lost Puppy smelled like fresh laundry, a nice air freshener!!!

Hugs from the sunny south!!!
