PlanetSolar Visits Boston

Earlier this year we were fortunate to visit onboard the PlanetSolar boat when she called in Boston. She is the first boat to circumnavigate entirely solar powered with electric engines.

We spent a quiet (but rolly) day at the anchorage at Big Sand Cay. We slept late and rested up for our overnight crossing this evening to Luperon. We took a quick swim (and bath) off the boat in beautiful turquoise water. Watched the birds fly overhead - their bodies mirroring the color of the water. There are so many birds.
