Ah! New Bottom Paint

We just repainted the bottom, finally switching from the dull-but-functional black to bright and flashy and hopefully also functional red.

Tres Chic in Martinique

29 June 2011 | Fort-de-France, Martinique
Window shopping in Martinique has been great - there are cafes all over and a truly amazing number of dress boutiques and shoe shops - everyone is very much into fashion - tres chic. The place itself reminds a bit of lower Manhattan in the garment district - lots of expensive boutiques - but the buildings are a bit run down. There is also a West Indies feel with open air markets with vendors selling vanilla, cinnamon and straw goods. There is also a modern mall within walking distance with a pretty large supermarket, book store and again - lots of places to buy shoes.
