PlanetSolar Visits Boston
Earlier this year we were fortunate to visit onboard the PlanetSolar boat when she called in Boston. She is the first boat to circumnavigate entirely solar powered with electric engines.

We are in Marigot Bay, St. Lucia. It's a truly gorgeous spot. Local people come out to our boat to sell fruit. Cornelius is the man who sold us most of the fruit in this picture. He paddled out to us on a surfboard.
We have two different kinds of mangoes. The red fruit is new to me, it's called a wax apple, or a mountain apple. It is shaped like a pear, and has a very faint delicate flowery flavor. I think it's an acquired taste.
We can get pineapples and limes and other fruit as well, but there is not a lemon to be found anywhere.
