Ah! New Bottom Paint

We just repainted the bottom, finally switching from the dull-but-functional black to bright and flashy and hopefully also functional red.

What Carnival Was A Week Ago?

14 August 2011 | Port Louis Marina, Grenada, W.I.
It's a week later now and we are just about recovered from Grenada Carnival Jouvert 2011 - well just about. Yes, I know it was a whole week ago -but I think it is just now the music has stopped playing in my head (yes it is the tune with "solidar, solidar" somewhere in the words). We had a great time. Since the marina is right downtown we were able to just walk to the parade and watch the bands (not the music kind, but groups in costumes). There was very loud music and food all along the parade route. Why a week of recovery. Well with Mas Carnival you get Mas Germs - so I caught some bug (ummm wonder which of the 500 people I danced with passed it along to me) ... and am just now back to the living.
