PlanetSolar Visits Boston
Earlier this year we were fortunate to visit onboard the PlanetSolar boat when she called in Boston. She is the first boat to circumnavigate entirely solar powered with electric engines.

Avocados on the Way to the Concord Waterfalls

Grenada is a great place to hike. One of the best hikes on the island is the hike to the Upper Concord Waterfall.
Avocados are one of the many edible things we saw on our hike up the long, steep road to the beginning of the trail. A man who lives along the road named Wi'd (short for William) joined us and became our guide. He used his machete to cut some sugar cane and pass it around everyone to sample (tastes like liquid sugar). We also saw nutmeg growing, and papayas, and mangos. Wi'd made up a bouquet of lemongrass and other herbs for me to bring back.
