Well, its about departure time....Flying Out Wednesday at 6am....so now I must get together with my friends here so say goodbye. Plan is to move south with good weather and sail on!
Will be in Astoria area for a little while to visit family and friends, do some boat work and simply messing about, like dig some clams, eat some oysters...stuff like that.
Then.....??

Made a boner in Fairbanks, now will be here a little longer. I can hear the rush calling me, so now I am shipping my truck (new tranny & all) by truck to Seattle, I will fly.
Finaly got most everything settle up, after Wednesday, I will be making fast arrangements to depart and get to the boat, looking forward to the solitude and quite, fixing my own chow and doing my own laundry....some more!
Bought a new radar so will have to use bosuns chair and go up the mast to replace the old radome with the new!
Then it's off to Astoria finaly.

wow.......!!! its a long ways UP THERE!
Sure wish I was a little bit lighter.

Well, had to buy reman tranny, ordered from Anchorage, shipping to Fairbanks on Monday, have a mechanic ready to R&R it Tuesday- Wednesday, then will begin loading everything on trailer for trip to Washington.
This blog thing is new to me, so bear with me as I get it together and begin this adventure.

Tranny went south instead of me! So waiting to get it fixed before driving to Seattle. Weather is beautiful, but chilly, so will just fiddle around for a few more days.
