Finally!

30 May 2017 | Tapuamu Bay, Taha'a
Bill
This is not sent via Wifi but via SSB since we've had NO luck at all finding a Wifi hotspot, free or for pay. Sheesh!

We departed Raiatea and stayed a windblown night at Hotel Hibiscus, then moved along the coast to Love Here Pearl farm, hanging on a free mooring for the night. We sauntered down to Tapuamu Bay night before last and have been here since.

We're fine, the boat's fine, and the weather has moderated a bit. I changed out some injector tubes to stop a diesel leak (you know how much I enjoy bathing in diesel) and we took a short dinghy and walking tour of the area this afternoon. The area is as we remember it, of course, but there was Wifi in the bay last year, and none this year, as I said.

We're moving tomorrow and heading south around the island to Apu Bay or even back to Ha'amene Bay, depending on what we find. The following day, again depending on weather, we will sail to Bora Bora where we're SURE there is Wifi!

More later. I have lots of photos to post but no way to do so.
