We received two pieces of news today that are encouraging.
Someone read yesterday's blog and provided a great recommendation for a BnB in Papeete. It was unsolicited but perfect for our use and a personal recommendation is always the best. To Jacaranda, thank you for the wonderful recommendation! We are very grateful.
We also received an email from our mechanic in Papeete, saying that he expected delivery of our engine on Thursday, and that there was no word on storage charges. Hurray! Perhaps obstacle 1 is behind us. We've learned not to get cocky, though, and know that we have many more to go.
We're packing for an early morning departure tomorrow. Wish us and our boxes of supplies a safe and successful trip. We hope that TSA and Air Tahiti take no umbrage over what we've packed and that everything survives the trip.
