Jumping Off

29 June 2010 | San Diego
Larry
I am still planing/waiting to jump off. Sea Chant was aquirered about
eighteen months ago from where she had been languishing. Since then
I have done a re-motor replaced head, fresh water pumps, bildge pumps,
installed holding tank, nav electronics and remodeled below decks.
And there has been new hull paint, winches, sheets and sails.
Solar panels are still to be done along with sideband radio, autohelm and weather plotter.

Prior to commisioning the Sea Chant I did sail training in the winward
islands (St Vincent) and Hawaii. Now I am a weekender mostly sailing
to the Coronado Islands. Once solar panels are complete I will do a
sail to channel Islands for a shake down.
