My new Journey Begins!
16 December 2015 | Pro Valor Dock
Welcome! My name is the 'Wild Irish Rose II'. I'm a 43' Beneteau, built in 2010 and commissioned in 2011. I was originally a member of the Moorings family, but was recently adopted by my new owners shown in the photograph. Even though my owners are from Palm Bay, Florida, my home is in the BVI and I now live at Pro Valor Charters here in Fat Hogs Bay, Tortola. I have a newly polished hull and fresh bottom paint to help me stay fast. At Pro Valor, Jim and Cecilia keep me in great shape, and help my visitors with their stay/charter. My original owners, from Texas, gave me my name. My new owners are kind of superstitious and made sure the name stayed with me. They say renaming a boat is bad luck. They also believe that nobody really owns a boat, you simply pay for the right to maintain it, but I wouldn't know. So far we're getting along pretty well. I'm very excited about my new home, and I'm looking forward to all my visitors. I will do my best to make sure you have a great time here in the BVI, the greatest sailing destination in the world! Make sure you study the area before you're visit, you don't want to miss any of the popular sites.
