As I ride around La Ceiba Honduras in a taxi driven by David what I started noticing most is the wiring of the electricity and such. It is an amazing entanglement. I feel like I"m in New York City compared to the Rio Dulce . It appears so busy, people selling items on the street, fast food chains,a shopping mall and many cars going in every direction. We have gone to the movies twice . The first night it was 5 dollars and change for all three of us. The theater was beautiful. The next movie night we spent one dollar per person!
We finally have the dingy running correctly. Three months ago in San Pedro it started having problems, now 3 months later we are good to go she is purring like a kitten. Somethings just take a little time. The generator has been a mystery today to repair, by some means which doesn't make mechanical sense it is now also fine. Today has been a great day.We also have internet back. Someone had downloaded so many movies it used up the block of Marina time oops......
Our friends Brent ,Sharon , Samantha Justin and Jessica have arrived from the Rio Dulce for a few days. Soon we will move on to Utila an island 18 miles NW of La Ceiba where the water will be clear. The coastal waters have a reddish brown color due to all the rivers flowing into the ocean carrying the rich clay soil from the mountains .
