Troop 701 Wakefield Ma. Sails the Sea of Abaco this week . A fun loving group with a sense of humor brings song into the night . Singing their hearts out while dancing was a joy to the ear to see youth having such a wonderful time . Their enthusiasm was like no other with energy to spare.
This week on the reef I was astounded by the forest of sea fans which appeared to go on for miles. If you shrunk yourself and fit beneath the purple and green fans you would think you were in grand pine forest out west with rolling hills of coral. The brain corals were especially healthy and abundant. The reef is a never ending wonder a world of its own.
Our group especially loved diving and do slash bombs off the stern of Viento Azul. Synchronized dive training was being judged by Captain Ted all in good fun. Round and round they would go one delight after the next forming smile after smile.
Coconuts and cinnamon buns are are always a favorite as we pull into Treasure Cay to visit Cafe Florence. Hurricane Dorian has destroyed the marina portion of the community but it is still a fun visit and the beach with its white sugar sand is a beautiful sight for any eyes.
The joy of reeling in snapper to cook on the grill brought forth a great meal. Fish tacos were served on Tropical Tuesday !
Every week comes to a close. After spending a week together making meals and exploring a special bond is formed. I will miss this fun loving group with creative minds and pray for a safe journey home. Your new friends Greg and Transcend call you the triple A team. “Always Awesome All the time.”
