Welcome to the North Pacific
29 July 2008 | Gabriella
gg/sunny/ nice clouds
Hello we flew across the equator yesterday at 12:40 p.m. with the increased winds a high reaching 26 apparent wind speed with Gabriella hitting 9 knots across the water. With the sun beginning to set at 5:20 p.m. I felt the presence of God upon us while a hefty dolphin was being reeled in just in time for dinner and out on the horizon a rainbow glowing through a low cloud touching down into the sea winking at me. I can hear God saying hello to me.. Evening came upon us with sea and winds tossing us about on the surface eventually calming down to a star lit sky shining like the finest of jewels covering from horizon to horizon totally full with stars some shooting across fading into the darkness. Another day is passing 620 miles since Gardner's Island Atoll and into our 12th day at sea. For friends of Janet she is an angel hat continues to smile and keep the day and night bright. Renee and Todd are settling into their new home and dreaming of the days to come and we all sit together in the evening for family movie time breaking off to sleep and night watch until the next day. Gabriella is staying on Fiji time until we see which way the wind is taking us Hawaii or Christmas Island? The bet is on what do you think?
