Wind at last!

Two days ago a glassy flat sea attempted to wring out of us our last bits of patience and good humor. To help relieve the stress and frustration, we started to scream out over the water at the world. It was a primeval scream which has reduced Andy's voice to a scratchy croak. (He did a bit more yelling than Betty) It felt good to let it out, and neither of us remember a time when we screamed so forcefully.
Yesterday the wind started filling in and we had a lovely day of 10-15K in a comfortable sea. This morning it picked up some more and we are now racing ahead in 20-25 K in 8 foot seas, headed straight for Neah Bay.
Last night at shift change, we spotted two freighters passing behind us. Those were the 2nd and 3rd freighters we have seen on this leg of our trip.
