Back to the Northwest

The past 24 hours have been some of the most trying of our entire trip. We made it here to Neah Bay this afternoon at 4:30, towed in by the U.S. Coast Guard. Our transmission failed just outside the entrance to the harbor. Until we can figure out how to get it fixed, we are stranded here.
We are so sorry that people have come to Port Townsend to welcome us home, and we won't be there. We should be excited and happy to be nearly home after such a long and challenging voyage. Instead we feel only frustration and sadness.
Does anyone out there know a good transmission man??
