About: |
Dave, also known as "Captain Sea Dog" was born and raised in Three Rivers, Quebec, Canada. He owned an aeronautical shim company for 25 years, with the dream of retiring to the sea and circumnavigating. [...]
Dave has been a captain for many years, has made several ocean crossings and has had a very successful racing history on many different sailboats.
Lisa grew up in Santa Clara, California, USA and was always into all sports water related. Known best for her "wild side" she travelled to Toronto, Ontario, Canada with her son, Mickey to pursue his hockey dreams, which later turned into a successful rugby career. When she took up racing in Lake Ontario, on a friend's sailboat, it didn't take long for the Captain to meet "Hurricane Lisa" and the rest is history!
While living in the upper Scarborough Bluffs of Toronto, Dave and Lisa were a 2 boat family, having Tabas, a Peterson 37 raceboat and Liliko'i a Christ Craft Grew 290 cabin cruiser. In May of 2011, after many months of grueling searches and comparison studies, the gorgeous, solid, seafaring Moody 46 became the perfect fit, just like a glass slipper, which conicidentally, she was then named.
On June 18, 2012 Ke'Ola Kai will set sail for our "Life on the Sea"
