Channels, part two

22 January 2014 | Santa cruz island
After our initial hikes and explorations of Pelican, Prisoners, scorpion, potato and smuggler's Bays, we were treated to a marine mammal show.... First was the hunting pod of humpbacks, a dozen or so, putting on a dive- show, flashing their tails and breathing in unison.
Almost back to Santa Barbara to drop Taylor off and say our goodbyes, we were bombarded by a thousand dolphins, curious about our boat and redirecting to swim right under us!
Once I figure out how to upload videos on slow wifi (patience) I will have to post it. I could not believe it... striped dolphins with babies that could fit in my arms.... no words can describe.
We got our fill of wildlife and stunning views, trekking across the entire Island from side to side in one day. I just had a hard time choosing my pictures... more to come!
