Mexico - leaving day after tomorrow
06 December 2009 | Bahia de Caraquez
Joe
Well folks, if there are anyof you out there following this, Tuesday morning early we lift anchor, for a piloted departure from Bahia, a 14 nautical mile cruise north to Cabo Passado, where we anchor for a few days to check everything, then - it's our first long hop - Acapulco, Mexico.
Once off the land internet is impossible; emails via SSB radio are still possible though, and I should be able to post on the Blog via that medium. If you hear nothing for three weeks, though, don't worry, it will mean the email>Sailblogs is not working.
Tomorrow morning, Monday, we go to Manta to complete Migracion. And to buy some food and hardware stuff.
The pic is of us racing along the beach from San Jacinto to Bahia - several miles - in Wacho's old Russian truck, the one we brought the chain back from Manta.
