SAFE ARRIVAL IN TONGA

Well, folks we are here - we made it! Sorry I have been lazy catching up with the blog, because we got here last Thursday. Then we checked in with customs and immigration, etc. Then went shopping for fresh vegetables, eggs and bread. Nearly lost Adrienne over the side, fending off as we left the container dock - the boathook slipped and she fell against the lifelines! Her ample tummy bounced her back safely onto the deck like a rubber fender!
The photo shows Adrienne with a new friend, one of the ladies from the market, Named Mani, who has graciously invited us into her home for lunch. The wrap is atraditional weaving which both men and women wear when they want to look sexy.
Thanks to you, Greg, for the research into Antiope - boy am I glad to be past that one!! Thanks too, to Colin for your kind comments.
